Next time you’re wondering what to do, a shopping excursion may be just the thing – and not on the weekend when everyone is running about trying to get the “best deal,” while stepping on your face and hands in the process. Just saying.
I would like to focus on college as a way to network and connect with others. More specifically, on sororities and fraternities. And even more specifically, on my previous disdain for such organizations.
This is what I needed today, a reminder that I am human, and that other humans are doing the same thing that I am: living to be happy.
I believe strongly in supporting my community, in helping people, in the greater good. However, if I were ever to run into the abusive parents, I don’t know what I would do.
I’m surprised they didn’t send me back outside, especially when you consider that this was in downtown Reno which is known for oddballs. But they didn’t. And I respect them for that.
Twice over the last weekend, I witnessed this happen – where someone couldn’t connect – and I have found a solution. Not for every instance, but so far, it has worked.
